My wife, son, and I enjoyed a special day in Tuscany in April 2011. Angie drove us through the wonderful hills of Tuscany where we were treated to two tours of small Chianti Classico wineries by the owners. We sampled several small batch wines and learned about the rich heritage of this great region. There were several oportunities for questions, pictures, and the lunch in the courtyard of a 12th century castle on a glorious spring day was a special treat. Thanks for making our day memorable.

This was the first trip to Italy for my mother, sister and I. WOW. I found Angela's "Tuscan Wine Tours" on the web. We couldn't have made a better choice for our Tuscany tour. We took the San Gimignano tour. The tour started at a Chianti vineyard (we still talk about Marco). He made the tour so fascinating for us, taking his time with us in explaining the process of wine making and olives. WINE WAS AMAZING.
Angela's vass knowledge of the wines and the history were outstanding. We ended up on our own private tour. We had Angela all to ourselves. Angela is a phenomenal tour guide and knows her stuff. We were full of questions and Angela had an answer for each and every one.
We toured San Gimignano where she also took us to an adorable Safron farm (which is also a B&B) where the owners made us a fabulous homemade lunch. The view from their yard was breathtaking- these people were amazing and so sweet and kind. We plan on staying a couple of nights on our next trip to Florence. The countryside is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! I can still taste the yummy cocktail they gave us after the meal. omg....
Angela - thank you so much for making our girls trip a fabulous and memorable experience. Your tour and your beautiful Florence were our favorite part of the trip!!!! We will see you soon!

We recently toured two vineyards in Montalcino and had a wonderful experience. Angela was a terrific and knowledgeable tour guide. This tour is a must do while in Italy.

We booked this tour solely from the reviews of Angela's website. Everything went as planned and was lovely. Angela met us in Florence and drove our small group everywhere in a minivan. One couple was able to meet up along the way. Angela shared her vast knowledge of the Chianti region and wine making process as we toured two very different wineries. One larger on a private residential property and where they also made olive oil. The olive oil was the unexpected highlight. Lunch between tours of two wineries was fantastic in a local hillside organic restaurant that we could never have found on our own. The food was delicious and the service warm. The second winery was a smaller boutique winery where we enjoyed an extensive tour and entertaining introduction to the Chianti wine industry. I would recommend Angie's wine tours of the Chianti area and if I am ever back in this region would book another tour in a minute.

We had a fantastic time on Angela's Chianti Classico tour and thought the whole day was just magic. It was a perfect present for my father's 70th birthday! We loved the two wineries Angela took us to and found all her information about the region very interesting. I would recommend Angela's tours without hesitation!

Many thanks to Angie for a fantastic tour. We were impressed with the Chianti Classico tour. Angie provided a well detailed explanation of the area, wine production and certification process as well as taking us to a wonderful farm for a brief explaination of the herbs grown and how safron is grown and harvested. Not to mention the brilliant farmyard lunch. We recommend Angies to tour to all.

Phil and I toured the chianti classico area with Angie and a couple from Brazil in late September 2010. The day provided an education about Chianti Classico and Super Tuscan wines. Two wineries of different sizes were toured and their wines tasted. They were a good contrast in philosophy and production methods. We had a delightful lunch outside in a castle in Panzanno. The day was full of good company, delicious wine and food, and beautiful views of the wine region.

This September Nancy and I really enjoyed Angela's shared Chianti Wines and Castle tour. The day was lovely, and the Tuscan hills and views were superb. We loved sampling wine at the castle, especially with the benefit of Angela's wine tasting tips. After a short stop in an ancient and picturesque village, Angela asked if we wanted to stop in Greve to partake in the annual wine festival. En route to Greve we took a lovely winding scenic road with spectacular views that took us through Volpaia and treated us to a glimpse of the "cinta senese" wild pigs being raised free-range. Greve's wine festival put the finishing touch on a great day.
Angela makes each visit to Tuscany special. In the past several years, I've taken both her private and shared tours. She always has interesting bits of information and new and different places to visit, and she is also receptive to ideas and suggestions from her guests.

We made a lot of good decisions and a few not-so-good when we booked our own itinerary through Italy. This tour was one of the best. We weren't sure we would like being hooked up with a group of strangers and didn't know if the guide would know her stuff. She did. Angela is great; a thoughtful and extremely knowledgable guide with the Experience in mind. She brought us to two fantastic wineries with great wines at prices within reach (we shipped back a case from one stop). And she took us to the most picturesque lunch spot where we enjoyed Neopolitan-style pizza on a rooftop terrace overlooking the countryside. It was pretty spectacular. And I can say (after having pizza in Naples a few days earlier) that this pizza was authentic. I would do this again in a heartbeat.

I took Angie's Chianti Classico tour with two girlfriends. Angie is fun, friendly and an expert tour guide. We visited two beautiful wineries, tasted fabulous Chianti, and had one of our most delightful days in Italy. I am a huge Chianti Classico fan now, but who knows after I return to Italy for Angie's San Gimignano tour, or her Montalcino & Brunello tour, or... Angie, I'll be back!
